The later is through academy where enable one to acquire additional skills that can't be obtained from the job. There is 2 type of experiences one can be obtained with daily work routine which can be repetitive after awhile. It offers the knowledge of what's available for certain technologies. OWL for Oracle 10g: Stored procedures for Oracle databases implemented in PL/SQL. Obtaining a certification is the beginning of my learning. RDQuery has gained the Best Poster Award at the 15th International. I love continuous learning hence with my professional certifications. I have worked in different industries during those time (ERP, CRM, Healthcare and virtualization software development) and involved in a few different to roles from QA,System Engineer, System Administration, Customer Support Engineer, escalation engineer and Database Administration. I have been in the IT industry for a little over 2 decades primarily in database field.
